Replaces injection molded plastic “Weaver” rail with precision aluminum Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) / STANAG (2324 & 4694) accessory rail. Have you purchased a great accessory for your Hi-Point carbine only to find that it won’t fit the profile of the rail properly? This replacement rail will solve your compatibility woes. The original factory rail incorporates “Weaver” type recoil slots that are too small for MIL-STD/STANAG recoil bolts & rods. Furthermore, the factory rail has inconsistent clamping surfaces and often significant warpage and bow over its length. Simple installation - no modifications required to original firearm. Retains use of original factory mounting hardware. Rail length is 120 mm and is a direct replacement for the factory plastic rail. Rail weight: 40 gm. Manufactured in the Sierra foothills - USA.
