The connectors are made with a flame-resistant thermoplastic shell for safety and electrical insulation, have a temperature rating of 105 degrees C (221 degrees F), and have a maximum voltage rating of 600V (WC-B connectors rated at 300V). Each is fitted with a fixed, square wire spring for secure gripping of conductors. They meet Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standard 94 V-2 for flame resistance and are Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certified.
