Each player takes a character token, its corresponding special ability card, and has five Equipment cards dealt to them. Place the Great Pit of Carkoon board in the centre of the table, then deal the remaining cards face down in a circle around it. On their turn, players draw a card from the circle and turn it face up for all to see. Defence cards are for your protection. Action cards can help or hinder. Hero cards inflict an attack. Tentacle cards will try to drag you into the pit. But the greatest threat of all is the mouth of the Almighty Sarlacc!
